Spring It On
I don’t know about you but am in full spring mode after the sunshine this week. I don’t know a Brit that isn’t the cheeriest of fellows when the sunshine comes out. Sun comes out and so our smiles (along with ankles and shoulders), even if we are shivering deep down! I’ve had such a testing week with Freddie, One minute he’s the most gorgeous human I ever did see, next he has literally morphed into the devil. I’m talking full on tantrums. I feel like the sunshine is what’s kept me going!
Honestly it takes the simplest of things make me smile in spring. I feel like it’s is the best time to naturally feel more grateful for things. Whether it’s blossoms and daffodils, or the first chance to leave a window open, the world just feels less heavy and a lucky place to be. With the clocks springing forward this weekend and the lighter evenings almost here, there’s a lot to look forward to and after a tough week it’s lifting my spirits. .
We are heading out for our very first picnic today, and in true Brit style will plant our bums firmly on a bench in the woods to enjoy the sunshine, even if the temperature tells us otherwise! (Obv packing the coats and wellies just in case!)
This month I went for a mix of trends and classics along with some warmer items to carry me through the colder days and some ankle bearing more daring choices for when the warmth graces us with it’s presence.
All items except one are around my usual £50 budget. The red sweater is a luxury item, one I would only spend this amount on once, maybe twice a year as a wardrobe investment piece that I know won’t go out of style. All links are provided below.
Have a wonderful weekend
